2-Day Firearms Defense Initiative I (Dallas)


Starting At 8am On Both Days, This 16hr Course Is Designed For You To Learn Your Weapon! Gain Your Proficiency! This course introduces you to the Fundamentals of firearms safety, along with the skills necessary to properly handle a pistol or revolver. The class will progress from the very basics to rapid fire/combat shooting and multi-target drills with various sized targets. This class is for everyone, whether you are a novice to the gun world or have experience shooting/carrying. These classes will also help you improve your accuracy and confidence to shoot well in a pressure situation. Our program is also great for the shooter who hasn’t been practicing on a regular basis. Lastly, these classes give the shooter a chance to practice real world shooting techniques, and situations which are not allowed at most civilian ranges. These courses place the most emphasis on improving the shooter's ability to make decisions under stress and to make rapid multiple shots on both single and multiple targets at varying distances. This class is literally for everyone on every level! What to Bring: These Items are required: 500 rounds! Hearing & Eye protection, Hip or tactical holster for the Tactical Handgun class, Clothing suitable for the weather, Ball cap, Sunscreen, Bottled water (lots of water!!!!!!!), Hand towel, sack lunch. And the willingness to learn new techniques and an open mind. If it's raining, we are still training! Call for group classes and other tactical offerings (Women's classes)!

The comprehensive Urban Battle Rifle Course introduces the student to the AR-15/10 rifle. During this course, students will learn about one of the most popular weapon systems used across the globe!

Students will become familiarized with the AR-15/10 rifle and will learn the basic gun-handling skills that are necessary to safely operate and maintain this weapon system as well as deployment and application for personal defense.

CLASSROOM - Approximately 8 contact hours will be spent in the classroom. Subjects will include, but not be limited to: Rifle Marksmanship Fundamentals, Rifle Practical Handling & Nomenclature. Mind Set - Operating Under Stressful Conditions, and Firearm Safety.

RANGE - Approximately 8 contact hours will be spent on the range. Subjects will include, but not be limited to: Safety, Multiple Firing Positions, Shooting & Moving, Using Cover, Multiple Firing Stances, Slinging/Unslinging, Immediate Action Drills Speed Reloading & Tactical Reloading, Trigger Control, Zeroing the Weapon, Handgun Transitioning, Pivot & Firing Movements, Body Armor Drills, & Target Transition/Multiple Threat Body Armor Drills.

-$20 Range Fee

-500 rounds of pistol ammo

-Outside of the waist band of thigh pistol holster

-3 pistol magazines

-3 pistol magazine belt holster

-500 rounds of rifle ammo

-4 rifle magazines

-Plate carrier vest with magazine pouch attachments

-Rifle sling (Single Or 2 Point)
